coherentramblings: Please be aware that there is another sketch of the possible suspect in Esme’s murder. The second sketch on the right is from an indecent exposure that happened in this neighborhood on Christmas day. The descriptions are eerily similar.  Please re-post so that everyone in Austin has these features etched into their brain. I desperately hope they find this man and get him off the streets as fast as possible. Be alert, be aware, and call APD if you have any information. And ladies in downtown Austin - DO NOT WALK ALONE AT NIGHT and carry pepper spray. my favorite part of living is wandering the streets late at night and i hate anything that keeps me from doing such. this will not keep me off my bike late at night but it will ensure that i’m not stopping for anything.  i find APD’s response to this sickening and sad. the men and women that are here to protect can’t/won’t take the time to file reports when things happen.  i do not personally know any of the women involved in these attacks but my heart goes out to them. being assaulted is one of the most terrifying experiences i have ever gone through and wouldn’t wish it on any one.  that being said i will resume my nightly bikventure with my lovely 5.11 tactical blade in my back pocket at all times. i will gut a mother fucker.
